Police blotter: sexual exploitation, human trafficking, drug-related charges

A 38-year-old man was arrested early Saturday by Hall County authorities on charges of sexual exploitation of children and human trafficking. The arrest was made on Winder Highway, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). The suspect was also charged with aggravated assault.

A 25-year-old man was still in jail Sunday morning in lieu of $13,180 following his arrest Friday on charges that include fleeing and attempting to elude, several traffic charges, and possession of marijuana.

Bond has been set at $14,000 for a 27-year-old man who was also arrested on Friday and is facing several drug-related charges including possession, manufacturing, selling and distribution of marijuana and THC oil. A 27-year-old man is being held on the same charges and also in lieu of bonds totaling $14,000. He was also arrested Friday.

Other information on these cases is not likely to be available before Tuesday when the sheriff’s office administrative offices reopen following the holiday weekend.
