Suwanee man wanted in alleged car buying scam

A Suwanee man who has allegedly been scamming people in rehab through a nonprofit he owned by promoting himself and his business as wanting to help such people find affordable cars has apparently dropped out of sight.

That’s according to an AJC investigation.

Suwanee Police, who are investigating seven cases involving Aaron E. Hayes, and AJC reporters have been unable to contact Aaron E. Hayes who operated Wheels-N-Recovery.

Six warrants have been issued for his arrest, according to the newspaper, for allegedly taking people’s money for his services and then not following through in finding them a vehicle.
