*Gainesville Police have issued a public appeal for help in identifying the man picture on the right. They say in a social media post that he’s wanted for stealing an electric bicycle from outside Walmart on Shallowford Road. It happened earlier this month, according to the post. *At least three BUI arrests were made on the portion of Lake Lanier in Hall County Saturday and early this (Sunday) morning, according to records at the county jail. Three men, ages 48, 47, and 33, respectively. Two of the three are also facing charges of not having or having enough PFDS (Personal Flotation Devices) on board.
*And bond has been set at $256,230 for a 27-year-old man charged with 20 drug law violations and a couple of other things, too, including DUI. He was booked about 12:30 Saturday morning.
More details on each of these is not likely to be available until Monday when local law enforcement offices reopen following the weekend.
