*And then there’s this:

Earlier this week, Hall County sheriff’s deputies were called to a reported hit-and-run at Dawsonville Highway at Lyncliff Drive early Tuesday morning. “The two vehicles collided in the intersection listed above as (one) was trying to turn left onto Dawsonville Highway and (the other) was trying to turn right onto Lyncliff Drive,” a sheriff’s office spokeswoman wrote in an email. (the first driver) gave her name and phone number to (the second), but she left the scene of the accident because she said was on her way to ‘the vet.’ Neither driver was injured. Both vehicles were operable.” At last check the driver who left the scene had still not been located.
