Plans for S. Hall warehouse complex move forward

Much to the dismay of a roomful of opponents, many of whom said they live in the area, plans for a huge warehouse complex in South Hall moved ahead Monday night.

The Buford Board of Commissioners held first reading on the rezoning and annexation for the 29-acre tract at Camp Creek and Gravel Springs roads where five warehouses and a four-story storage facility are planned.

The homeowners who packed the meeting said they are concerned about increased tractor-trailer traffic in the area. They’re also concerned about the adverse effects on their property values if the complex is built.
