Plans for new city in Gwinnett near Hall Co. move ahead; in G’ville, a new way to treat high blood pressure

*Legislation was introduced Monday in the Georgia General Assembly that calls for the creation of a new city in Gwinnett County that would be bordered by Hall and Barrow counties. It would be called Mulberry and be the second-largest municipality in Gwinnett in terms of population. It must first, however, pass the state House and Senate and be approved by voters in a referendum. Plans for the legislation were announced last fall by two members of the Gwinnett legislative delegation.
