Plans for 400+ new residential units filed with Hall officials

The Hall County Planning Commission HCPC) will “hit the ground running” when the new year arrives. The agenda for its Jan. 16 meeting contains requests involving plans for no less than 407 new residential units in various parts of the county.

*A 97-acre tract on Poplar Springs Road at Poplar Springs Church Road will be home to a 192-lot single-family home subdivision if the proposal gains county approval.

*Another 125 single-family lots are proposed for Sardis Road near Short Road on a 41-acre tract.

*Fifty-three townhome units are on the agenda for eleven acres on White Sulphur Road near Ramsey Circle.

*And 100 single-family residences are planned on Union Church Road near Steeple Chase Lane. That request involves 50 acres.
