Pediatric dentist faces child porn charges; $tate tax revenue$ down; drug overdoses kill two NE Ga. prisoners

*FBI agents recently raided the home of Atlanta area pediatric dentist Paul Kim who practiced in several places including Cumming. They say they found videos that contained child porn. Dr. Kim was charged with possession of child pornography, freed on $100,000 bond, placed under monitored house arrest, with no Internet access, and no access to children.

*Georgia’s net tax collections December totaled nearly $3.05 billion, a decrease of five percent, compared to December 2022. Year-to-date revenue totaled roughly $16.1 billion, an increase of 1.6 percent, over the same period in FY 2023, an increase that was mostly driven by the collection of the state’s motor fuel tax that was suspended during the first half of last year.
