Park pavilion to be named for S. Hall man

“Hall County Government officials will host a dedication ceremony on Wednesday, April 10, at Alberta Banks Park in Flowery Branch to name a newly constructed pavilion after Hall County philanthropist, Glennon C. Crow.

“The Crow family has played an integral part of Hall County’s history,” Hall County District 1 Commissioner Kathy Cooper, in whose district the park sits, said. “G.C. Crow was a local farmer, philanthropist and leader who strived for the betterment of his community. I am proud to honor him and his family with this new dedication, which serves as a small token of gratitude for a man who spent his life in service and dedication to others.”

G.C. Crow is remembered as a man whose role was instrumental in the development and growth of South Hall County throughout much of the twentieth century. Crow dedicated efforts in enhancing agriculture, communication and transportation in the area.

The dedication ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the pavilion located outside the pickleball courts at Alberta Banks Park, located at 5575 G.C. Crow Rd. Flowery Branch, GA. Light refreshments will be provided at the event.”
