*The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) was busy over night with traffic accidents on Dorsey Street and Lula Road. While details are sketchy at this time, traffic alerts that were posted by HCSO said the Lula Road wreck occurred early in the evening between Breezy Lane and Savage Road. The Dorsey Street crash happened shortly after midnight between Aviation Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard.
*Despite the filming taking place this week downtown for the Sylvester Stallone TV series “Tulsa King” and some street closings associated with it, downtown businesses remain open, according to Main Street Gainesville. Information made available last week says today’s shooting between 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. will result in the full closure of Henry Ward Way from Jesse Jewell Parkway to the cul-de-sac. In addition, look for north curb parking lane closure on Broad Street between E.E. Butler Parkway and Henry Ward Way.
