One person was killed in an early morning house fire in Forsyth County Thursday.
It happened on Holtzclaw Road.
Several other people escaped the flames unharmed.
The fire destroyed the house and the cause was not immediately known. The victim’s name had not been released at last check.
A dog and a cat were also killed.
