One person was injured when a small plane crashed about 1:30 Friday afternoon at a White County airport.
Officials with the county public safety department said witnesses were able to remove the pilot, who was the only person onboard, from the plane. He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The plane was a RV-8A aircraft.
The crash happened at Mountain Airpark in Cleveland.
