Gville schools plan job fair; One injury in Gaines Mill Road wreck; Hall drug arrests

*The Gainesville City School System (GCSS) will host a Job Fair on February 10 at the Gainesville Middle School West Campus located on McEver Road 9:00-12:00. The system need Elementary and Secondary Teachers, SPED and ESOL Teachers, Exploratory (Music, Art) Teachers, Paraprofessionals, School Nurses, School Food Assistants, Bus Drivers, Maintenance and Grounds Workers, and IT Technicians. *One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Gaines Mill Road Saturday night. The Georgia State Patrol says Julian David Pinon, 19, Gainesville, was injured when his car went out of control about half-a-mile west of East Hall Road and overturned several times, while striking an embankment and a utility pole. Pinon was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

*Hall County authorities report the arrests of two people recently on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Although full details won’t be known until Monday at the earliest, records that were available over the weekend show that one of the suspects is a 21-year-old woman who was taken into custody Friday morning. In addition, a 29-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning.
