A Franklin County man was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Georgia 365 in Habersham County. The accident happened about 6:45.
The state patrol says a work truck was stopped for a traffic light on Ga. 365 at Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway. A car that was traveling behind the truck failed to stop and struck the rear of it, killing the car’s driver, James Johnson of Lavonia.
The truck driver, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, his condition not known.
