A Jefferson man who had been wanted by Flowery Branch Police for nearly two years has been captured.
Lt. Christopher Compton said Friday Michael Patrick Walker, 46, was wanted in connection with a theft reported at the McDonald’s on Spout Springs Road on October 22, 2024. Security footage showed Walker taking $1,822 from the restaurant safe. A warrant was issued at the time, but he was not immediately located.
Thursday, Walker was arrested by another agency Compton did not identify and booked into the Hall County Jail.
