An annexation/rezoning request and regulations for rehab centers and halfway houses are on the agenda for Thursday’s meeting of the Oakwood Planning Commission.
Coro Realty Advisors is seeking approval to bring almost two acres on H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway into the city and have the tract rezoned for heavy industrial use. The site is currently zoned “light industrial.” The parcel is at 5671 H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway.
Commission members are also scheduled to consider a proposed change to the city’s municipal code that would establish regulations for rehabilitation centers and halfway houses. The measure is intended to outline standards for how such facilities may operate within the city.
