A chase in Oakwood Thursday night ended with the arrest of a Gainesville man by a state trooper.
GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On February 21 at 11:55 PM, a trooper observed a vehicle traveling at 76 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour speed zone on Georgia 53 (Mundy Mill Drive).
The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle however the vehicle initiated a pursuit. The pursuit continued on several roads until turning into Vineyard Way where the driver pulled into a parking space.
The driver, identified as Eddie Bostic, fled on foot. He was quickly apprehended after the short foot pursuit.
He was found to have a suspended license after the pursuit.”

*RECKLESS DRIVING 1ST OFFENSE
*FAIL TO MAINTAIN LANE
*FLEEING OR ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE)
