One person was treated on the scene for a minor injury but did not require transport to the hospital following a fire in North Hall Friday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) said Saturday the fire occurred in an outbuilding and some nearby woods. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Kimberlie Ledsinger added that it happened in the 5200 block of Bogus Road. Firefighters, she said, found a two-acre woods fire and the outbuilding “fully involved” in flames when they arrived. A crew from the Georgia Forestry Commission assisted in putting out the fire.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) at one point issued a “traffic alert” advising motorists that Bogus Road was blocked “with fire apparatus.”
