Non-profit organizations serving Hall County will benefit from the $110,600 in grants recently okayed by the Jackson EMC Foundation.
They are American Red Cross Northeast Georgia ($15,000), Mosaic Georgia, Inc. ($15,000); and, Fresh Wind Recovery, Inc. ($10,000).
The grants are funded by Jackson Electric Membership Corporation (JEMC) customers who have agreed to “round up” their monthly bills to the nearest dollar.
