No more vape, fireworks stores?; Hall Asst. Administrator leaving

*97.5 Glory FM has confirmed that Braselton is considering a ban on any more vape and fireworks stores in the town. The city’s planning commission is scheduled to consider the move and hold a public hearing when it meets January 27. The city council is scheduled to hold another public hearing on the proposal when it meets Feb. 6.

*Assistant County Administrator Katie Crumley is stepping away from her role with Hall County Government to fully invest her time with her family. Crumley has served Hall County since 2012 serving as Public Information Officer, Communications and Strategic Engagement Manager, and since January 2023 as Assistant County Administrator. “Her work has helped shape Hall County Government as it operates today,” according to the news release announcing her resignation. “Under her leadership, Hall County completed a successful re-branding campaign, uncovered and implemented a set of organizational values for more than 1,800 employees, launched a complete website overhaul and led County communications through Covid and a cyber-attack.”
