No one was injured in a house fire Saturday afternoon in Flowery Branch. Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded about 4:30 to Big Sky Drive after a report of smoke in the house.
“Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the garage of a two‑story home, though no flames were visible from outside,” Division Chief Bobby Ogletree said. “Crews entered the house and advanced a hose line to the second floor, where they located a fire in a bedroom. The fire was quickly knocked down and extinguished.”
The lone occupant had already exited safely before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
