Dr. Michele Shirley has been named Interim President of North Georgia Technical College (NGTC). Dr. Shirley’s appointment was effective today (Wednesday).
The man who has served as the school’s president for the past five years, John K. Wilkinson, is retiring.
Dr. Shirley’s tenure at NGTC has included stints as its Executive Vice President of Administrative Services since 2021, Vice President of Administrative Services, Director of Admissions and Registrar, Special Populations and Retention Coordinator, Career Planner, Marketing Specialist, and Associate Instructor of Business Management.
