Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) has achieved a new, first-in-state accreditation in Endocrine Surgery from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC).
SRC accreditations are awarded only to hospitals and surgeons who meet rigorous, internationally recognized standards for safety, outcomes, patient experience and continuous quality improvement, according to an NGHS news release.
The agency has also reaccredited Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Gainesville in these categories as a SRC Center of Excellence:
Hernia Surgery
Robotic Surgery
Colorectal Surgery
Minimally Invasive Gynecology
Minimally Invasive Surgery
