Hall County is expected to have a population of 270,132 by the year 2050, according to a new estimate from the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC).
As required by the state, the ARC has released new population estimates, employment data, and other information for its core 11-county region and ten other counties which are adjacent to those counties. In addition to Hall, those ten other counties include Barrow and Dawson.
The estimate for Hall County notes that at the time of the last census, in 2020, the population was 203,136.
Meanwhile, 2022-2023 population estimates show that with Forsyth County leading the way, metro Atlanta added 66,730 people in the past year, pushing the core 11-county population to 5.16 million.
