The Hall County School District (HCSD) has entered into a new partnership between its Howard E. Ivester Early College and the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
The Ivester Business Scholars, slated to become the district’s next program of choice, will offer business courses for eligible rising seniors across the district who are passionate about pursuing careers in business.

Through partnerships with institutions such as the University of Georgia, Lanier Technical College, and Brenau University, the Howard E. Ivester Early College campus immerses high school students in a collegiate environment, ensuring they receive rigorous academic training and essential support systems for success. Participating students are dual enrolled, giving them the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school.
“The Ivester Business Scholars Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to engage with one of the nation’s top business schools,” said Superintendent Will Schofield.
“This new partnership is truly a giant leap forward for the Ivester Early College,” said Doug Ivester, Director of the Melvin Douglas and Victoria Kay Ivester Foundation. I am incredibly proud of the progress made by the Ivester Early College.”
