Hall Co. Schools Supt. Will Schofield said Friday his intends to recommend Heather Davis as the next Principal of Flowery Branch Elementary School. The recommendation will be made at the Monday school board meeting. Davis will take the place of Principal Amy Bright, who will retire at the end of the school year.
Davis taught middle school math for a total of eleven years in in the districts of Cobb County, Gainesville City, and Forsyth County, respectively. For the past four years, she has served as assistant principal at Friendship Elementary School.
Davis has a Bachelor’s of Science in Middle Grades Math and Social Studies, a Master’s in Middle grades Math and Science, and an Ed.S. in Leadership from the University of North Georgia.
