New Falcons QB; Child killed in Buford was 4; Gville H2O interruption

*The Atlanta Falcons have their new quarterback. He’s Kirk Cousins, considered the NFL’s number one free agent. He’s coming from the Minnesota Vikings, which reports say went all-out to retain him but couldn’t or wouldn’t match the Falcons offer for the 35-year-old: a four-year, $180 million contract.

*The youngster who was killed at the Mall of Georgia Sunday when hit by a pickup was a 4-year-old girl. Gwinnett Police said Monday two people who were hit at the same time and are expected to survive their injuries are a 37-year-old man and 7-year-old girl. The investigation is continuing, and it’s not known what, if any, charges will be filed.
