There’s another delay in the opening of a new arena in Athens – and that’s delaying the start of the initial season for city’s new hockey team.
The Rock Lobsters have already had to postpone their first two home matches and announced Monday that Thursday’s game is delayed as well.
The Akins Ford Arena at The Classic Center has not yet passed inspection. There is still hope that a home game can be played Friday.
