NBC is dumping time, money, and people into closely covering seven counties around the country in the runup to next year’s presidential election. And Gwinnett County is one of them.

This is not the first time Gwinnett has been expected to play a major role in a major election cycle, the Gwinnett Daily Post reminds us.
During the 2022 mid-term election cycle, POLITICO named it one of 20 counties across the nation to watch. And in 2020, a Monmouth University poll pegged Gwinnett as a key swing county in Georgia for that year’s presidential election.
