N. Hall drug arrest

A North Hall man is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond after more than $12,000 worth of illegal drugs was seized from his home, according to authorities.

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:

“Kevin Lee McIntyre, 57, of Gainesville was arrested Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, by Hall County Sheriff’s Office drug investigators.

Investigators went to McIntyre’s residence on Cleveland Highway and found a quantity of illegal drugs, including 165 grams of methamphetamine, 50 clonazepam pills, 21 alprazolam pills, a half gram of cocaine and 18 grams of marijuana. Total estimated street value of the illegal drugs was placed at $12,980.

In addition, investigators seized a 9mm pistol during the investigation.

As a result, McIntyre faces the following charges:

·         Trafficking methamphetamine (felony)

·         Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (felony)

·         Possession of Schedule IV drugs x 2 (felony)

·         Possession of cocaine (felony)

·         Possession of marijuana (misdemeanor)

·         Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon”
