Two traffic accidents Tuesday, one on one end of the county and the other at the other end, played havoc with late-day traffic.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says one of them was on I-985 and involved “7-8” vehicles and closed all northbound lanes. Traffic was being diverted at Exit 20 for a time and the sheriff’s office issued a traffic alert warning motorists to “be prepared for extended delays.” This was in South Hall near Mile Marker 22.
The other accident was in North Hall and shut down Price Road at Pete’s Drive.
No other information on either crash was immediately available but both roads were cleared and had reopened by 10:30 Tuesday night.
