Former Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (MTG) latest Trump rant centers around the price of diesel and what she says she recently paid at a marina on Lake Lanier: “Trump just beat Biden with the HIGHEST diesel price in history – $6.50/gallon,” she declared in a Facebook post Monday.
Once a staunch supporter of the president’s, Greene broke with Trump last year and left Congress earlier this year.
“We just filled up our boat at a marina on Lake Lanier, Georgia and it was $5.99/gallon,” she had posted on Facebook a few days ago.
“As a little girl, I grew up going to my grandparents house on Lake Sinclair where I was born in Milledgeville, GA and at my parents house on Lake Lanier where I’m from and live again in Cumming, GA and we’ve had boats for decades.
“I’ve paid for gas at marinas many many times for over 35 years, ever since I was a teenager in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
“$5.99 is ridiculous!!!

For his part, President Trump’s latest take on the price of gasoline and diesel came a few days ago when he said the high prices are a fair trade-off for the U.S. war with Iran.
