More UMC churches bolting

(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Dozens of churches are out of the South Georgia United Methodist Church Conference.

The AJC reports just over 100 churches south of Macon were approved to leave the conference in the middle of August.

A great number of churches in Hall County and elsewhere in the state have done the same thing in recent years and especially since the General Conference announced more lenient language over homosexuality earlier this year.
