*Morehouse School of Medicine has just received its largest ever donation. The historically Black college will be receiving $175 million to help diversify the next generation of doctors. The funds are a portion of $600 million divided among four HBCU medical schools. The others are Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Meharry Medical College in Nashville, and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science.
*Over 20 state attorneys general including Georgia’s are calling for a national TikTok ban. The coalition says the China-based social media app poses a threat to national security. They filed a request with the U.S. Court of Appeals to uphold a law that would force the parent company of TikTok to sell the app if it cannot find an American buyer within a year.
