Minor injuries in 4-vehicle, 985 rush hour wreck

A wreck on I-985 southbound at the height of rush hour late Wednesday afternoon resulted in three minor injuries according to the state patrol.

STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:

“…A Honda Odyssey was traveling south…in the left lane.  While doing so, the driver was following too closely and struck a Ford Mustang that was stopped due traffic ahead.  After impact, the Ford Mustang struck a Jeep Compass.  After impact, the Jeep Compass struck a Ford F150. 

The driver of the Ford Mustang and Jeep Compass were transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center for minor injuries.  The driver of the Honda Odyssey was not transported but sustained minor injuries; that driver was…charged with Following Too Closely.”
