A Georgia Lottery player in Flowery Branch has won a one-million-dollar top prize playing the 50X The Money scratcher.
The winning ticket was bought at Gaines Ferry Shell. The player chose the lump sum cash option of $809,000 and claimed the winnings on Sept. 29.
Last week, players statewide claimed almost $39 million in winnings from Georgia Lottery scratch-off tickets.
