Mid-morning mobile home fire displaces 3

HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 9:45 a.m., Hall County Fire Rescue and Gainesville Fire
Department responded to the 3200 block of Cleveland Highway for reports of a
mobile home fire. Upon arrival, crews discovered a lakeside mobile home that
was 50 percent involved with extension to a nearby vehicle. HCFR and GFD
personnel began a defensive fire attack on the residence and vehicle while
another crew conducted a primary search.

The residents exited the structure safely prior to personnel arriving on scene. A
second search was also conducted and was determined to be all clear. Crews
are currently on scene suppressing any remaining hot spots and Hall County
Sherriff’s Office has Cleveland Hwy blocked temporarily until all fire units can
relocate.

The American Red Cross was notified for one adult and two children who have
been displaced. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by
the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
