The Gainesville Mayor and City Council plan to tour the city’s new Public Safety Training Complex this week. The tour will follow their regular work session which will be held there starting at 9:00.
Items on the agenda include budget presentations, purchases of land from Newtown Florist Club and Laquita H. Pethel, and a rezoning request for property at Athens Street and Purina Drive.
G2 Industrial Partners, LLC wants 1.1 acres rezoned from General Business (G-B), Light Industrial (L-I) and Heavy Industrial (H-I) to Light Industrial (L-I). No specific plans for the property were included in the agenda released Tuesday, just “existing light industrial uses.”
