Man wanted in Hall Co. on 60+ child porn charges nabbed in Griffin

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:

“A suspect wanted on multiple counts of child sexual exploitation in Hall County was
arrested Friday, February 16, 2024, at a residence in Spalding County south of Atlanta.

Paul Kizito, 27, was originally arrested in Lula on May 3, 2022 and charged with one count
each of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The arrest came
after investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) acted on a cyber-tip from
the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and discovered a
pornographic image of a child had been uploaded to a Snapchat account belonging to Mr.
Kizito. The suspect was released on bond on May 5, 2022.

Since that time, forensic analysis of two cell phones belonging to Mr. Kizito uncovered an
additional 66 images and videos of CSAM. An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Kizito on
Thursday, February 15, 2024 for 66 counts of felony sexual exploitation of minor.

As they prepared to issue the additional charges, HCSO investigators had been following
tips on Mr. Kizito’s whereabouts. Authorities with sheriff’s offices in Baldwin County, AL,
Baldwin County, GA and Spalding County, GA, as well as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation
(GBI) assisted with pinpointing the location of the suspect. As a result of those tips, the
Spalding County Sheriff’s Office was able to track Mr. Kizito to a residence in Griffin and
place him in custody.

At this time, Mr. Kizito is in custody at the Spalding County Detention Center, awaiting
transport to the Hall County Jail.”
