A town hall meeting will be held tonight in Lula to discuss the town’s nearly week-old water shortage.
It will be held at The Depot at 6:00 to “discuss water concerns and conservation,” a social media posting says.
Questions, city officials promise, will be answered related to the recent water events as well as future water improvements.
The interim city manager told 97.5 Glory FM yesterday afternoon the situation had not changed in the past 24 hours. Water levels in the town’s system are still low and though no contaminents had gotten into the system as a precaution a boil water advisory was still in place.
