Lula house fire; two people treated

HALL CO. FIRE SERVICES NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 7:30 pm (Wednesday), Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 6200 block of Lula Road in Lula. The first due engine arrived on scene and began an offensive fire attack on the bulk of the fire. 

Although the flames were knocked down quickly, crews continued to work, due to extension into the attic. Two searches were completed inside the structure and both were all clear. Personnel ensured that all hot spots were extinguished prior to leaving the scene. 

About 50 percent of the residence is a loss due to the damage, and the American Red Cross was notified for the homeowners. Two patients were evaluated at the scene but were not transported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office. “
