The North Georgia Health System (NGHS) recently celebrated the retirement of what it calls in a social media post “an extraordinary career and an even more extraordinary physician.”
After nearly three decades at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, Dr. Casey Graybeal last week officially completed his final surgery and will soon begin retirement.
“…Dr. Graybeal has dedicated his career to helping patients find relief from complex esophageal conditions through NGPG’s Heartburn & Swallowing Center,” the posting says. “From treating heartburn, reflux and swallowing disorders to helping patients regain comfort, confidence and quality of life, his impact reaches far beyond the operating room.
“Known for his thoughtful approach to care, Dr. Graybeal always believed that every patient deserved a personalized treatment plan, open communication and a physician who listened. That patient-centered philosophy shaped countless lives and helped establish a program that has served our community with excellence for many years.”
He’s been at NGMC Gainesville since 1997,
