‘Laundry list’ of charges filed against G’ville man

A Gainesville man is behind bars facing nearly 30 charges filed by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Gainesville Police Department (GPD), the courts and probation officials. It all came crashing down on Fredik Morales Villalobos, 26, after he was pulled over by Gainesville Police Monday. Late Tuesday afternoon he was still in jail. Bond has been set at $41,800.

The HCSO charges (M for Misdemeanor, F for Felony) and dates of the crimes:

Nov. 2, 2023

·         Theft by taking (M) – suspect stole a backpack blower from a residence in the 1800 block of Pleasant Circle.

Nov. 6, 2023

·         Entering automobile (F) – suspect entered an automobile belonging to a female victim at a residence on Mountain View Road in Gainesville; suspect stole a purse containing $1,000 in cash, a debit card and an electronic tablet.

Nov. 7, 2023 

·         No insurance (M) – suspect failed to provide proof of valid insurance during a traffic stop on Spring Road at Bennett Circle.

·         Driving while license suspended (M) – suspect was operating a vehicle on Spring Road at Bennett Circle without having a valid driver’s license.

·         Obstruction of an officer (M) – suspect ran from an HCSO deputy conducting a traffic stop on Spring Road at Bennett Circle.

Nov. 14, 2023

·         First degree forgery (F) – suspect used a counterfeit $100 bill as payment to an individual.

Dec. 6, 2023

·         Criminal trespass (M) – without authorization, suspect entered property belonging to another in the 2800 block of Cascade Drive.

Dec. 30, 2023

·         Theft by taking (M) – suspect stole a box containing shoes from a residence in the 100 block of Williams Street.
