The Jewish community in Hall County will mark the beginning of Hanukkah later this week with two events – one in Flowery Branch and one in Gainesville sponsored by Chabad of Gainesville. Chabad of Hall County – Chabad House – Gainesville , GA USA
The Flowery Branch celebration will be held Thursday at the town’s amphitheater at 5:00. The one in Gainesville is planned next Sunday on the square at 4:30. Each will feature, among other things, a “giant” Menorah lighting, music, and food. The Gainesville celebration will also include crafts. There will be no charge to attend.
