Local, federal authorities arrest two drug suspects

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:

“Tucy Ellan Lipecki, 37, and Matthew Dean Harris, 35, remain in the Hall County Jail following their arrests last week on drug and weapons charges.

Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) took both suspects into custody at a residence on Reed Circle in Oakwood the afternoon of Thursday, February 29. Harris lived at the residence. Investigators seized 18.7 grams of methamphetamine and two containers of THC oil at the scene; estimated street value of the illegal drugs was placed at just over $1,500. In addition, they found a pistol at the residence and $3,055 in cash.

Both suspects have been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance (THC oil) and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Harris faces an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Lipecki and Harris are being held without bond.”
