Hall County sheriff’s detectives Friday charged former Lanier Christian Academy (LCA) football coach and teacher Joel Ernest Lulinski with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor. The charge is unrelated to Lulinski’s arrest on Thursday involving inappropriate images he took of LCA students.
The new charge is the result of the ongoing forensic processing of Lulinski’s cell phone, which was seized following reports Lulinski had been taking photos and videos underneath the clothing of girls during school hours.
On the cell phone, investigators located one image of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) depicting a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Investigators have charged Lulinski with possession of the image.
Because of the additional charge, Lulinski is now being held without bond at the Hall County
Jail.
Investigators plan to continue the investigation, including the forensic processing of other electronicdevices seized from him.
