Lanier Tech reports a record enrollment for the fall semester which began August 12: more than 6,900 students across the school’s five campuses.
Compared to the fall semester last year, the number of accepted and registered students increased by 12%. The number of credit hours students are studying for has also increased by ten percent over the fall of 2023.
Lanier Technical College President Tim McDonald credits the College’s faculty, staff, and community partners for achieving this milestone.
”The College’s growth is a testament to the diverse economy in Northeast Georgia and the College’s program alignment to the needs of our business sectors,” McDonald said. “Our students can pursue their career passions while being taught by subject matter experts and graduate with a robust foundation of knowledge and skills.”
