Phil Sutton, Vice President of Kubota Manufacturing of America Corporation, is this year’s recipient of the regional Pioneer in Education Award.
Presented by Pioneer RESA (Regional Educational Service Agency), this award recognizes individuals who make significant, positive impacts on students and education in each of the 15 school districts within its service area, according to a Hall County School District (HCSD) news release.
“A long-time supporter of education in Hall County, Sutton has demonstrated a commitment to fostering educational opportunities, creating pathways for students, and supporting initiatives that shape the future of the community. Under his leadership, Kubota has worked closely with Hall County schools, providing resources, internship programs, and other collaborative projects that prepare students for success in a range of careers.”
Superintendent Will Schofield expressed gratitude for Sutton’s efforts, “Phil Sutton’s dedication to our schools and students is both inspiring and transformational. His influence extends beyond our classrooms and into the future of our community. This recognition is well-deserved, and we are honored to celebrate his contributions.”
“It is an honor and truly humbling to be named a Pioneer in Education today,” said Sutton. “Helping young people achieve their dreams has become a passion for me, and I am so proud to be a part of the Work Based Learning Community.”
