It happened in Commerce at the Commerce-Jasper County game.
Commerce Police say another juvenile approached officers at the game and told them that another student was attending the game and was armed.
The student was located and searched, according to a police department news release, and was found to be carrying a .45 caliber pistol. He was promptly arrested “and has been charged through the juvenile court system.”
Officers are still trying to determine where the student got the gun.
