JEMC Christmas gift: Grants to benefit 4 Hall non-profits

The latest round of Jackson EMC Foundation grants includes four Hall County non-profit organizations.

The Hall County groups benefiting this time include St. Vincent de Paul Society of Flowery Branch and St. Vincent de Paul Society of Gainesville, $15,000 each. Both provide housing assistance to “families in crisis.” Also, Joshua’s Voice, Inc., Buford, $7,500, for its Autism Spectrum and Sensory Processing Disorder Awareness, Training, and Tools Program for first responders and others. And Tiny Tots, Inc., Suwanee, $2,000, for materials and supplies for its volunteers who make clothing and blankets for infants up to three-months-old.

In all, the foundation board recently approved grants totaling $114,500 for groups across the electric co-op’s service area.
